Although Velvet Gloves & Spit is not my first choice usually when I pick
out a Neil CD, I do enjoy it. When this topic came up I had to put the
CD on as I hadn't listened to it in awhile. I must say after
re-listening I don't know why I don't listen to it more though. In
Knackleflerg when he sings "when I see that poop of yours, it sets my
eyebrows up in flames", I always crack up!! I love the emotion in his
voice in "A Modern Day Version Of Love". The only song I don't like is
the Pot Smoker's Song. I hit the skip button on that one always. I can
just imagine Neil on stage with "Two-Bit Manchild where he does the
"Hey" and "Yehaw" with the amount of energy Neil puts into things like
that on stage!!
