Hi Fans!

First of all, a Great Big THANK YOU to those of you who waited so patiently for your poster orders. I know you must be enjoying the beautiful new poster of Karen and Richard. For those of you who haven't seen one, it is a groovy new pose. Karen in a long dress and boots sits in a wicker chair with Richard standing behind her, wearing a striped jacket over a turtle neck sweater. It is quite different from the boat poster. Pennants are still available.

The response to the question and answer session was tremendous so at your request we are doing another.

Q: Which of the songs they have done do they like best?

A: They are very fond of Reason To Believe but they like them all for different reasons.

Q: Will they have their own TV show this summer?

A: No - they will be touring Australia and Japan with a stop over at Hawaii.

Q: Does anyone advise Richard on his song arrangements?

A: No. All arrangements are "Richard Originals".

Q: Who is Richard favorite classical composer?

A: Tchaikowsky & Bach.

Q: Does Karen receive derogatory remarks because she is a female drummer?

A: No, she receives many letters from males and females complimenting her on her drumming. There's been a burst of female drummers on the music scene since Karen became famous.

Q: What does Richard think is his best arrangement?

A: We've Only Just Begun & Superstar.

Q: Why does Karen always wear long dresses or pantsuits?

A: Karen is a clean-cut, modest young lady. Try sitting at a drum set some time and watch the position of your legs. The answer will be obvious.

Q: What made Karen decide to play drums?

A: Karen's drumming talent in inborn though it did not surface until her high school days when she decided to play snare in the marching band to get out of Physical Education.

Q: Have they bought two shopping centers?

A: They bought a large shopping center in Torrance, CA and a smaller business center in Downey.

Q: Where will their new Music School be located?

A: In the business center in Downey.

Q: When will the school be opened?

A: Escrow just recently closed and ground has not broken yet. It will be six months or more before the school will be ready?

Q: Will Karen and Richard be teaching there?

A: No. They will have qualified teachers that will be teaching per their standards. They will drop in from time to time to help.

Q: Where can I obtain a cover of the album Offering?

A: Sorry. There are none available. A&M destroyed them all when they repackaged the album & named it Ticket To Ride.

Q: Is that their own boat on the cover of Ticket To Ride?

A: No. They rented a sailboat at Lake Tahoe for the prime purpose of taking pictures for the new cover.

Carpenters are scheduled to appear on The London Bridge Special which will be taped at Lake Havasu, Arizona the middle of February. Viewing date has not yet been set so watch your TV Guide and local papers.
